Macrame 2-Tier Hanging Wall Shelf
Combine storage and décor with this handmade macrame hanging shelf. Two rustic wooden boards are suspended in knotted cotton rope, creating a floating shelf that shows off small plants, candles, books, photo frames or bathroom essentials. The natural wood and soft rope bring an easy bohemian feel to a bedroom, living room, bathroom or entryway, and make a bare wall feel warm and lived-in.
The shelf measures about 75 x 35 x 10 cm, a practical size that holds everyday items without taking up floor space. Because it hangs from a single point, it is quick to put up and easy to move when you want to change your layout. The handmade rope detailing and tassels give every shelf its own character, and the wooden tiers add a natural, earthy contrast to the cream-coloured cord. Pair it with trailing plants such as pothos or ivy for a lush, relaxed look that changes with the seasons.
Some light assembly is needed: slide the boards into place and level them before loading. Use it for lightweight decorative items rather than heavy objects, and make sure the hook or screw is fixed securely into the wall. A thoughtful gift for plant lovers, new homeowners or anyone who likes cosy, natural interiors.
